At the Social Administration in Enköping Municipality, we work together to help residents who are in various difficult and vulnerable life situations.

We have close leadership and are constantly working actively on the development of the organization. As a foundation in our approach, we have chosen to use motivational interviewing (MI) for those we serve. Part of our management structure involves working in cross-functional teams between departments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you our new colleague? We are looking for a family law secretary for the Family Law Department in Enköping. We are four people in the workgroup. We apply collegial guidance and have close access to management as well as external supervision together with family law colleagues in the region. You will also be offered wellness benefits and the opportunity to work from home.

The task of the Family Law Department is to support children and parents in family law matters based on the needs of the child, according to the Parental Code and the Social Services Act. As a family law secretary, you will investigate issues regarding custody, residence, and visitation on behalf of the district court, as well as matters concerning paternity/parenthood and adoption.

A significant part of the work involves providing advice in family law matters. We are responsible for voluntary mediation sessions and the legally mandated information sessions. Prioritizing and emphasizing preventive work leads to more amicable solutions and fewer court referrals, which benefits the affected children.

We actively work to increase children's participation and influence in family situations. We offer BIFF (Children in Parents' Focus) training to parents and the children's group "Hanna and Theo" for children with separated parents.

At the Social Administration in Enköping, we work systemically. This means that you, as a family law secretary, will work both independently and closely with your team colleagues, as well as with colleagues in other teams within the administration. We particularly consider domestic violence, and the family law department is part of the cross-functional team that addresses families with expertise in all areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience in family law matters.

A valid driver's license is required as driving is part of the job.

As a person, you are secure, stable, can prioritize and plan your work. You are flexible and can easily adapt, have a salutogenic approach, and want to contribute to people's own solutions.

You can calmly and respectfully meet people in difficult life situations. You can empathize with others' perspectives or situations without taking over their feelings. You have the ability to weave together information, perform analysis and assessment with the child's best interest in focus.
